I'm a mom too.
I know what it's like to spend your days chasing toddlers, folding endless piles of laundry, wiping sticky hands, and wondering how the toys somehow end up in every single room. Some days feel so long, yet somehow the years pass in the blink of an eye.
One day you realize your baby doesn't ask to be carried anymore. Their little hand slips out of yours as they run ahead, growing more independent with every passing season. And suddenly, the moments you thought you'd always remember start to fade.
That's why family photos matter so much to me.
Not because I believe every moment has to be picture-perfect, but because I know just how quickly this season passes. I want you to have photographs that remind you of the way your child looked at you, the sound of their laughter, and how it felt when they still fit perfectly in your arms.

Best Time of Day for Photos
The best light around Stow, Ohio happens about one to two hours before sunset, often called "golden hour." This soft, warm light creates the dreamy, timeless look you see throughout my portfolio.
If you have little ones with earlier bedtimes, don't worry! We'll work together to choose a time and location that fits your family's schedule while still giving us beautiful light.
What to Pack for Your Session
A little preparation goes a long way! I recommend bringing:

Tips for Toddlers
If you're worried your toddler won't sit still, you're in good company!
The best advice I can give is this: don't put pressure on them to perform. Let them know you're going to play, explore, and spend time together...not pose for an hour.
Some of the sweetest images happen when children are running, giggling, exploring, or snuggling with Mom and Dad. I'll gently guide your family while leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to unfold naturally.
What Happens if It Rains?
Ohio weather likes to keep us guessing! If rain is in the forecast, I'll stay in touch leading up to your session. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us.
Your experience is important to me, and I want to make sure we have the best conditions possible for beautiful photos.
How Long Until We Get Our Photos?
Your fully edited online gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session. During busy seasons, I'll always communicate if turnaround times are a little longer.
